Hot Asphalt Paving and Repair

• Damaged areas in need of repaving are cut out and the old asphalt removed
• If necessary, new, processed dirt is brought in
• Three inches of new asphalt is used and then compressed using a plate compactor or a four-ton vibratory roller

New Driveway

• Remove all existing asphalt from driveway
• Remove any unsuitable base material, i.e. large rocks, soft dirt, or vegetation
• Install processed stone where needed to have a secure base
• Processed stone is then compacted
• One-by-three inch pieces of wood are installed around perimeter of driveway for neatness
• Install new hot asphalt at a spread of three inches
• It is then compacted using a 3-ton vibratory roller
