Hot Rubberized Crack Sealing

• All cracks are cleaned to remove dirt, debris, and vegetation
• All major cracks are sealed with the hot rubberized material, Hi-Spec Polmeric Joint Sealing Compound. This material has proven to be the industry standard as the best way to prevent cracks from deteriorating driveways. Cold crack fillers re-crack soon after being applied and are not recommended.
• Hairline cracking will remain as is
• The rubber gets soft on hot days for the first week or so after being applied
• Tire marks are sometimes visible, but they will go away
• Cracks are sealed but do not disappear
• A 3-inch band will run across the width of the crack after sealing to assure that water cannot re-enter the crack. With some cracks, the compound settles just below the level of the pavement
