Parking Lots

In the United States there are forty-seven thousand shopping malls. This country is obviously one of excess, so for each and every one of these shopping malls there should be a series of parking lots to match. Imagine a work with no parking lots and you are asking for chaos and large amounts of traffic. These allotted spaces were designed to house large amounts of automobiles, while shoppers spend money and time. There are different types of parking lots:

Ninety degree parking lots:: these types of parking lots are designed for two-way traffic and efficiently use the space provided. Laser line striping of these parking lots is straight, so that two-way traffic can flow easily.
Angle parking lots:: these types of parking lots only accommodate one-way traffic because width space is limited. The passing lanes should be two to three feet wider, so drivers can pass without difficulty. Laser line striping in angled parking lots is not painted straight.

Handicapped Parking

The Americans with Disabilities Act has regulations that ensure public and commercial parking lots to have handicapped parking for people with disabilities. Businesses that have parking lots can be fined if they do not comply with the regulations of parking spots. Handicapped parking spots have to be large enough to fit a van and allow a wheelchair to exit without danger. They must be the close to the entrance and elevated parking areas, handicapped spots must be on the ground floor. The international symbol of accessibility which is an outline of a wheel-chaired person should put on each spot with laser line striping. These handicapped parking spots are outline in blue laser line striping to designate them as different from the others. Able bodied people that use handicapped parking spots are truly selfish and should think of others.

Reserved Parking

Parking lots are also designated with laser line striping for companies and their most important employees. Reserved parking for the chief executive officer, president, vice president and the chief financial officers. These people are paid more, have bigger offices and enjoy perks such as reserved parking. Laser line striping is used to designate these spots by panting the letters onto each spot.
